You Are Invited

We are pleased to invite you to the 3rd edition of the Doctoral Symposium of Montreal Management Schools, which will be held at the John Molson School of Business on February 22 and 23, 2024.

In the spirit of making research accessible and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, our symposium serves as a unique gathering point for doctoral students across various specializations within the joint doctoral program in business administration (HEC Montréal, ESG-UQAM, Concordia University, and Université McGill). This event provides an inclusive platform where budding scholars can showcase their research in an engaging, approachable manner.

Under the theme "Making Research Accessible," this edition of the Symposium emphasizes our commitment to making research more accessible to all. We encourage doctoral students to envision academic life as an inclusive journey marked by collaboration and shared knowledge. The Symposium becomes a pivotal moment to illuminate diverse academic pathways, ignite intellectual curiosity, and create an environment where research is approachable and understandable to a wider audience.

Our goal is to carve out spaces for thoughtful conversations and dialogues surrounding academic pursuits, ensuring that research findings are communicated in a clear and comprehensible manner. By embracing accessible language and interactive formats, we aim to bridge the gap between complex research and wider audiences, making scholarly work more understandable and relatable to everyone. Together, we embark on a journey of making research not only valuable but also accessible to all.

This bilingual Symposium will take place in person over two days (10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.) and will feature a variety of activities (oral and poster presentations, workshops, conferences, mentoring, and more).
